The University of Messina (UniME) is situated in Messina, Sicily, and was established in 1548, making it one of Italy’s oldest universities. With a strong historical presence in the Mediterranean region, UniME remains dedicated to growth through its emphasis on internationalization and expansion. The university maintains partnerships across the globe, offering students a range of international opportunities, including exchange programs, double degrees, and joint-degree programs. Thanks to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), students can earn credits and take exams while studying abroad. UniME consists of 12 departments and offers 94 degree programs, including 12 taught in English. Additionally, it provides 15 Ph.D. programs and 21 one-year vocational master’s degrees.Currently, UniME hosts a diverse student body of over 15,000 individuals from 70 different countries.
